  • 3. October. Daphne is bound for China on the troopship Dilwara. She is the wife of an Army soldier. Note This record pretty much confirms that husband Sydney was still in the Army in 1950 and probably took part in the Korean war. The 1st Battalion Leicestershire Regiment were in that combat.
